Deaf Cat Loves Going On Bicycle Adventures With Dad

Some people view cats as being homebodies, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. While some cats are kept indoors at all times and do little more than lounge around in patches of sunshine, other cats love getting any chance possible to go outside and explore.

Cats often love climbing cheese, wandering, pouncing, and more. But given the dangers of the outside world, and the fact that outdoor cats are notoriously bad for local ecosystems, it makes sense that pet owners keep their beloved felines inside.

Travis is one cat owner who has come up with a unique solution for his pet Sigrid. He gives her the best of both worlds by keeping her safe inside, but allowing her to go on adventures with him around the city!

Travis sets Sigrid up on his bicycle and the two ride around the streets of London. The cat even has her own goggles to block the wind!

In an interview with The Dodo, Travis said, “We’ve been basically all over London.” He shared that in the 700 miles they biekd together, they’ve visited the Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, and Hyde Park among other places.

Travis regularly shares about their adventures on Instagram where they have over 120,000 followers.

He shared on Instagram that Sigrid is deaf, so she hardly gets spooked by noises while they’re riding around. She does, however, have a hatred of dogs. She’ll chase any dog possible if given the chance!
