Man Born With No Legs And One Arm Shares How He Uses The Treadmill To Stay Healthy

Yes, social media can be a bit of a cesspool of vanity and negativity, but there is also a rather inspiring side to it. There is one 25-year-old man who is using his TikTok to inspire millions.

Timur Mason lives in Hartford, Connecticut, but was originally born in Moscow, Russia. While this might not seem noteworthy, there is something different. He was born with only one arm and no legs. However, this wouldn’t stop him from living a full life.

As Mason explained to News 8, his biological mother abandoned him at an orphanage. He said:

“They say my disabilities are from radiation exposure from Chernobyl. I have a letter where she says she didn’t want to raise a monster…I don’t have any anger or resentment towards that letter or her, honestly…without her giving me up, I wouldn’t be here and I wouldn’t have the amazing mom I do and the amazing family I have.”

Mason was later adopted at 3 years old. His adoptive mother then taught him that his physical disabilities can do nothing to hold him back or affect his independence.

Mason said, “I have two slogans, ‘I can and I will’ and that’s something my mom would always have me say.”

And then, one day while on TikTok, one of his videos went viral. It features him lip-syncing on a treadmill.

As he shared, “I went to bed and I woke up and it had like 2 millions views. And it just kept growing from that.”

And now, his videos have almost 14 million likes.

He has expressed interest in wanting to someday become a motivational speaker.

“I am on a journey right now and I will let it take me wherever it goes,” Mason said.

And while on that journey, he plans to continue making more videos to inspire others.
