Aussie Finds Massive Spider Hiding In Toilet Paper Dispenser

Life can get busy, and at times, it can be hard to find a moment of peace.

For those with kids, taking a break in the bathroom can be one of the few moments to relax for a second and take a breather. It’s a mini sanctuary of sorts. At least, that’s what we hope.

One Australian Reddit user by the name of u/Aussiewhiskeydiver was trying to enjoy a bathroom break when they noticed something horrifying next to them.

Perched inside the clear toilet paper dispenser was a massive huntsman spider. Pulling the paper out would clearly disturb the spider, but there was no other toilet paper in sight.

They posted a photo of the scene on Reddit, with a caption that’s hard to think about. They said: “After rushed and violent bout of diarrhoea you are presented with the option to wipe or not to wipe.”

Australia is notorious for creepy bugs and animals, like spiders and snakes. Huntsman spiders are among the critters that people are often afraid of, and it’s easy to see why.

As the Australian Geographic reports, huntsman spiders have a leg span of up to 15cm long (around 6 inches!).

Thankfully, they tend to be docile and harmless. So, even though they look large and intimidating, they’re nothing to be afraid of.

Even though they’re not generally harmful, I wouldn’t want to find a huntsman spider on my toilet paper roll! What would you do in that situation?
