Scared Puppy Shakes From The Cold Until Rescue Mom Warms Him Up

When rescuers met Pumpkin the pittie for the first time, he was terrified and shaking from the cold.

The dog’s owner reached out to rescuers with Sidewalk Specials in South Africa after becoming worried about the puppy’s health.

According to Sidewalk Specials, Pumpkin’s owner, a young boy, said that the other puppies were bullying the little runt and he wasn’t doing well. He wanted medical help for the dog, but rescuers feared the pup wouldn’t survive if he stayed in his current situation.

Thankfully, the boy surrendered Pumpkin so he could have a fair chance at life. Sidewalk Specials quickly got the tiny, shaking pup placed with a loving foster mom, Bianca.

With Bianca’s help, Pumpkin grew stronger and began to come out of his shell. It took a lot of love and support, but Pumpkin went from being a terrified, unstable pup to a dog thriving in his new home!

Bianca shared with Sidewalk Specials that, “Pumpkin’s superpower is definitely getting cats to play with him.”

Apparently, he won over her cat, Maui! Bianca said she’s never seen a dog so great at getting cats to play and engage!

After gaining more strength and confidence, Pumpkin went on to find an amazing family and home with another dog to call his brother.
