Russell Crowe Mourns The Loss Tragic Of His 16-Month-Old Puppy
When most of us think about Russell Crowe, we think about the different parts he played on the silver screen. Many of the parts were those of tough guys, but recently he showed us just how human he really is.
Unfortunately, his 16-week-old puppy was hit by a truck, and while they were rushing him to the veterinarian, the doggie died.

He passed away in Russell Crowe’s arms, and it has been difficult for him.
It wasn’t just the fact that he lost a good friend when the dog died. The death took place on the same day of the year as the anniversary of his father’s death.

After Louis the Papillion passed away, Russell shared a picture on Twitter. It’s hard to resist those big eyes and sweet looks.
He then let people know it was his dog, who was only 16 months old. He went on to say how the dog won his heart, but on the second anniversary of his father’s passing, Louis was hit by a truck and died in his arms.
This is Louis the Papillion.
16 months old.
Tiny, cheeky, brave. He won my heart.
Unfortunately today, on the second anniversary of my fathers passing, Louis was hit by a truck.
We tried to get him to the vet, but he died in my arms while I was telling him how much we loved him. pic.twitter.com/zIwzUz8Ljx— Russell Crowe (@russellcrowe) March 30, 2023
As you can imagine, the Tweet went viral, with thousands of people commenting. Many of them were quick to offer their condolences or perhaps even the story about the loss of their own dog.
