Rescue Beagle’s Reaction to His First-Ever Toy Is Melting Hearts Online!

Having lived most of his young life under inhumane conditions at the Envigo RMS in Virginia, Froggy finally has a chance to find love and happiness in a new forever home.

Froggy is one of the more than 4,000 beagles rescued by a massive operation upon the issuance of a search warrant by the Department of Justice after a lawsuit was filed against the company.

Proof of inhumane treatment was found, and the beagles were rescued by the Justice Department in coordination with the Humane Society of the United States to make sure that the dogs would be properly taken care of and had the opportunity to be adopted by loving people.

Humane Society Broward took in 60 beagles, including Froggy, whose recent video won the hearts of many people on Tiktok.

Froggy never had a toy to play with at the Envigo RMS, whose business was to breed dogs and sell them to research laboratories. And now that he’s been given a plush toy, he cannot let it go, and he has been carrying it everywhere like a precious gem.

Love and comments poured in, expressing their sympathy and hope for these dogs.

“It’s sad to see those little angels, who are pure and ready to love and live a happy life, being used like things for experiments,” wrote one Tiktok user.

“I want him, I will spoil him with so many toys he won’t know what to do with all them. 🥰🥰🥰❤️where is he at?” asked another commenter.

“So precious…. I’ll never understand why or how we as people could mistreat any animal. All these poor dogs want to do is please and be loved,” said another individual.

“So happy to see these poor dogs getting to experience what they should have from the beginning,” expressed another Tiktok user who reflects the same sentiments that many people feel for these dogs.
