Porkchop The Kitten Reacts To Cat Translator App

I would love to know what cats are thinking. Many times they have these faraway looks in their eyes like they’re plotting something.

When you talk to them, they’ll respond, but obviously, you can’t understand what they’re saying. It’s quite sad.

But in recent years, people have tried to bridge the language gap between humans and their felines. There are now apps that either help you “interpret” what your cat is saying, or there are apps that “translate” your own words into something cats are supposedly able to understand.

While babysitting a friend’s kitten, one person decided to give one of these translation apps a chance. This resulted in a hilarious little entertaining video. In the footage, the man on the couch speaks into his phone, saying “Porkchop, come here.”

Once spoken, the app translated it into “cat talk” for the kitten to understand. And it seems like he understood very well! Porkchop immediately bolted up and raced over to the couch!

It is quite impressive footage, and so the two people decided to upload it to social media.

They shared the video with ViralHog, explaining, “We were babysitting our friend’s kitten and thought it would be funny to see if the translator app (human to cat) worked on him and it seemingly did on camera.”

Check out the adorable video down below:

What do you think of this kitten’s “cat talk” response? Do you think he actually understood the meows or was it just coincidence? Have you ever tried a cat translator app? Let us know!
