Black Bear Wants Bacon But The Pigs Have Another Idea

I think that most people would agree that bacon is irresistible. Like it or love it, you have to admit that it is a popular food that is found in almost everything these days.

It seems as if bacon is not only something that is enjoyed by humans, but even black bears are in on the action. You can see this in an interesting video, taken in Gaylordsville, Connecticut.

The video shows a black bear that was hanging around outside of a pigpen. This would typically be a big problem but the black bear seemed more curious than anything else.

Several different times, the bear tried to scale the small fence but he would back down every time. The pig, on the other hand, was a little curious as well and he would come wandering over to the fence to see what was going on.

That is when it finally happened, the bear got enough confidence to jump over the fence and decided to attack the pig. Obviously, it is what the bear had in mind all along.

That is interesting enough, but what the pig did is even more interesting. Rather than simply rolling over, the pig decided to fight back and his pig friend even came out of the pen to join in on the action.

Suddenly, the aggressive black bear was backing off quickly and it wasn’t long before he made a hasty exit over the fence. The pigs, on the other hand, defended themselves well but then went back to their normal routine once the black bear was gone.

The bear hung out for a little while, perhaps trying to ascertain what had just happened. I guess he’ll have to find some bacon elsewhere.
