According to CNN, Los Angeles does have a stray dog problem, but it has lowered its kill rate significantly, giving more dogs a chance to find homes. CNN says, “LA’s save rate is now up to 90.4%, which is over the 90% rate needed to claim no-kill status.”

The Labelle Foundation runs an Instagram account dedicated to sharing the success stories called The Labelle Foundation Alumnis.

Recently, they revealed that Paul McCartney and his wife, Nancy, adopted one of their rescued dogs!

They explained on Instagram that the adorable black pooch was named Jet. The dog posed with McCartney and his wife for a sweet photo.

The rescue wrote in the post: “Cheers to Rover (now Jet)!! We are so proud of this little pup for finding his fur-ever family!! Thank you @paulmccartney and Nancy for opening up your home and supporting animal rescue.”
