Kid Tells Mailman The “Real” Reason Why Mom Can’t Answer The Door

Kids say the darndest things.

If you’ve ever been around kids before or have some of your own, you know how truthful and embarrassing they can be. They really have no filter!

When a mailman in the UK attempted to deliver some packages to a woman’s home, he was greeted by her young daughter and the daughter ended up oversharing in the most hilarious way.

The interaction was caught on the home’s security camera and shows the postal worker tucking some mail into an outside cupboard.

Before he leaves, he notices someone at the door and goes to inform them of the mail, but he quickly realizes it’s a young child.

“Where’s Mommy? Ya’ll need a parcel,” the mailman asks.

“Mummy upstairs having a poo,” the girl replies, clearly seeing no reason to be anything but honest.

The mailman quickly wraps up the conversation and walks away.

The mum, 24-year-old Lauren Chloe Edney, shared the video on TikTok with the caption, “I’m so sorry Mr Postman.” She was clearly embarrassed by the interaction and isn’t sure how she’ll face the mailman in person again!

In the comments, she wrote, “someone send me some new children.”
