We sometimes hear that birds of a feather flock together but there are also times when the strangest of combinations take place and it works beautifully.
Perhaps that is seen in a wonderful way when it comes to Hemingway and Waffles.
Although Hemingway and Waffles are of different species, you could never convince them of it.
After all, they get along so perfectly it is as if they are birds of a feather after all.
As a mini horse and goose, you really can’t get much further apart as far as species are concerned but they did have something in common. They were stuck in difficult conditions and were rescued.
Hemingway the goose seemed to protect Waffles, and it was easy to see. The Bucks County SPCA recognized the bond that they had with each other, despite the fact that Hemingway was a stubborn and independent animal.
Since they got along so well with each other, the shelter wanted to find someone who was willing to adopt both of them at the same time. That is where Maddie and Nick come in.
According to The Dodo, they had recently purchased a farm and they were looking for some animal friends to include in their family.
