Mom Instantly Regrets Having Grandpa Watch Son While She Goes On Vacation

Being a parent is exhausting and it’s nice to get away from time to time. When parents go away on vacation, though, they want to know their kids are in safe hands.

Molly Madfis (who goes on TikTok by @almostmakesperfect) tried to take a relaxing “baby moon” with her partner, and left her son with someone she fully trusted: Grandpa.

While it should’ve gone off without a hitch, Molly took to TikTok to share that it was a big, hilarious mistake.

“How to have a relaxing baby moon — don’t ask your dad to babysit,” Molly wrote in the text overlay. “Never again,” she added in the caption.

In the video, you can see Grandpa taking the boy to school 30 minutes late without his backpack, and asking basic questions like how to make toast or where to find guacamole.

Naturally, people in the comments were quick to shout, “weaponized incompetence” and it really does seem like that.

It may not have been a very relaxing time for Molly but at least her son probably had a memorable experience with his grandpa!
