Frog Jump Scares Unsuspecting Florida Woman
A woman in Florida received an unexpected scare when she stepped outside and had a frog jump on her from behind.
The incident was caught on video by the home’s doorbell camera in Naples, Florida.
At first, you can see the woman walking outside with her dog. She’s talking sweetly to the pup when suddenly, she screams and jumps!

Unbeknownst to her, a frog had launched itself from above and landed right on the back of her neck.
The woman jumps around, screeching, not realizing the frog had jumped off her several moments earlier. If you’ve ever had an unexpected critter jump on you like that, you know the panic she was going through.

Her dog even seemed to sense the fear the woman was experiencing and he jumped up as if trying to help! How sweet.
The Naples area does suffer from an invasive poisonous species called cane toads though. While cane toads aren’t toxic from skin-to-skin contact like the woman experienced in the video, they can be deadly if licked or ingested by animals and can cause severe irritation to human eyes or cuts, according to the City of Naples.

Thankfully, most of the frogs in Naples, Florida are completely harmless. In fact, tree frogs are some of the most popular species and they can be found just about everywhere in the state.
