Dogs Sets The World Record For The Longest Frisbee Catch

We have no doubt that dogs are able to do some amazing things. If you have a dog in your life, you already realize that they have a personality and they likely keep you entertained with something that they do from day to day.

When it comes to a dog named Sailor, however, that unique something that he does from day to day is taking things to the next level.

He loves to play, but he does so in a way that is different than any other dog in the world.

Sailor enjoys playing Frisbee with his owner, Rob. They do it competitively, and they even had an opportunity to play recently at a Canadian football game in front of an entire group of fans. In doing so, they were able to do something that no other dog has ever done.

As Rob threw a frisbee as hard as he could, Sailor ran after it and he caught it after it was thrown 109 yards. That was long enough for him to make it into the world records as the “Longest Catch at a Live Sporting Event.”

It happened during the halftime show when the Calgary Stampeders were playing the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

When halftime came around, Rob came out in front of all of the 21,000 fans with his beloved dog and threw a frisbee.

They then went on to connect for three different touchdowns and a 110-yard reception on every one of them.

You might be wondering why Sailor is wearing a pink coat. It is because of the annual charity that was being celebrated during that game, PinkPower. It was to support the Canadian Cancer Society.

You can see the video of the fun, which many are calling the best halftime show ever:
