Bernese Mountain Dog Is Too Excited To Greet His Favorite Human
A Bernese Mountain Dog named Bernie is winning hearts of people around the world thanks to his adorable TikTok presence.
Recently, his owner shared a video of the dog greeting one of his favorite humans, and it’s too cute!
In the clip, you can see 4-year-old Bernie happily walking on a leash. But when he notices someone up ahead, he picks up his pace.
Eventually, the person walking Bernie lets his leash go so the dog can sprint to the awaiting human and give him a giant jump hug!
Bernie, who lives in San Francisco, California, proceeds to stand on his hind legs and jump up and down to “greet” his human. It’s so cute!

Bernese Mountain Dogs are notorious for being incredibly sweet and comforting. In fact, one hotel in Aspen even employed a Bernese Mountain Dog to help tuck guests in at night! They’re such loving dogs that one sweet pup befriended a wild otter.
According to the American Kennel Club, Bernese Mountain Dogs are known for being good with children, affectionate with family, and good with other animals.
The AKC writes, “Berners are generally placid but are always up for a romp with the owner… Berners get along with the entire family and are particularly gentle with children, but they will often become more attached to one lucky human.” All in all, they’re real gentle giants!
