Sweet Dog Adopts Three Tiny Piglets And Raises Them As His Own

Dogs are such caring creatures that it’s no surprise they make excellent foster/surrogate parents for other baby animals.

According to Cuddle Buddies, one couple, Will and Lydia, had always wanted to have a pig of their own. But at the same time, they already had an older dog of their own named Gem.

Still wanting a pig, Will decided to surprise Lydia and bring home three little piglets. Lydia wasn’t the only one in the family who was surprised. Gem was surprised by the little trio of piglets but happily took them in.

In fact, he was a very doting adoptive dad, caring for all three piglets like they were his own. But, he seemed to have a favorite, Ted, the runt of the litter.

Gem was in for a true shock when the three little pigs eventually outgrew their dog dad, actually doubling in size.

But, regardless of them being twice his size now, Gem is still a devoted dad and will protect his pigs as though they’re still babies.

The devotion of the doggy dad to his piggy pups is too sweet!
