Doe Brings Her Fawn To A Man in the Woods So They Can Share An Apple

If you’ve ever had the opportunity to be around deer before, you realize they are extremely cautious. That is especially true of a doe when she has a young fawn with her.

Like any mother, she wants to protect her young and ensure that nothing is going to harm them. This includes the unknown, such as what we see here.

The moment involves a man who is sitting on a log and surrounded by the beauty of the forest. He is eating an apple, but he is not alone.

As he takes a bite out of the apple, one deer appears. Suddenly, more and more deer begin to appear as he continues to take more bites out of the apple.

Before long, he takes a bite and then throws the remainder of the apple in the direction of the deer. They are all too happy to accept, but that isn’t the only food he has. He also has carrots for them to enjoy.

According to Rumble Viral, this man is enjoying the forest in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Since deer are protected in that area, and there are no hunters, they are less frightened of humans.

In addition, they are accustomed to being fed by the human so they come close to him for a treat.

As the deer came up to enjoy a carrot, he tossed it on the ground in front of him so she didn’t have to eat out of his hand. After she eats it, she starts looking for more food.

It seems as if they were testing the man to ensure he was truly safe. That is when she brings out her fawns, so they can enjoy some food as well.

If you watch the doe carefully, you can see her giving signals with her ears, tail, and other body language to communicate with her young. After they know it is safe, they come out to enjoy a treat.

This isn’t something that happens often, and many of us would enjoy it, but we may not know how to take part in it. Fortunately, we do have this video to show that it is not only possible, it really is beautiful. You can see the video on YouTube here.
