Copper The Alaskan Klee Kai Is Devastated Upon Hearing That He’s Allergic To His Fave Food

Finding out you’re allergic to something you absolutely love can be devastating.

Heck, I’m aware that some people who are lactose intolerant still devour pizza and drink milk even when they know there are going to be consequences, and some people who are mildly allergic still eat the food that they’re allergic to.

At least they know (hopefully) what signs to look out for and take the necessary medicine they need if an allergic reaction occurs. They know the risk, and they’re prepared to take it.

But what if a dog is allergic or sensitive to certain things? It’s always best to just avoid giving them anything that can be dangerous.

A TikTok video has gone viral, and it features an Alaskan Klee Kai being told about how he’s allergic to certain foods and his sister, Skye, being absolutely the unbothered queen that she is, just lounging beside him.

The first thing Copper’s allergic to is sardines, which doesn’t seem to bother him much.

Corn and rabbit were mentioned next, and Copper still showed a lackluster reaction.

Now when beef was mentioned, oh boy, did Copper react strongly, wailing at his mom.

“No way *$%!!!! 🤬,” the text in the video showed just how devastating this news is to Copper. “Can’t be true 🥺😢 It’s my favourite 😫 I love it 🥺🥺😭”

He cried for a solid 10 seconds there, by the way. But what meat-eating-human wouldn’t cry over being allergic to beef though? C’mon, let’s be real here.

The last three things Copper is allergic two are seafood, cod, and shellfish, which is a shame because these foods provide protein and contain a lot of good omega-3 fatty acids. They are also said to be a great food substitute for protein if your dog is allergic, like Copper, to beef.

The allergy test that this TikToker used seemed to be a DIY one that you can just order online and where you can just send a saliva swab over to a facility and wait for the results to come back.

Experts say that there is no evidence to support the accuracy of these kinds of tests, so maybe Copper can still get his fave food in the end!

A person commented under the viral video that they did it for their dog and it costs about $200, and their vet told them that it was just a waste of money because they are not accurate at all.

Instead of ordering an allergy kit online, go straight to your local vet and have your fur babies tested. However, some tests can range from $100 to up to $400 for just a skin or blood test for allergies.
