Honest Neighbor Made A “Frantic And Embarrassed” Apology After Her Dog Broke A Christmas Ornament

A kind lady just displayed top-tier pet parenting and just being an awesome person in a video caught on a ring camera.

All of what happened was because of a single candy cane decoration in front of a very festive house.

A homeowner posted a video on TikTok showing how a neighbor came up to their door to apologize for something that her dog did.

“Hi! I’m so sorry. I was just walking my dog and the leash got caught in one of your candy canes and he broke it,” the person said.

Assuming that the broken decoration was expensive, she proceeded to take out a $20 bill from her pocket to leave in the nice flowerpot in front of the homeowner’s door.

“If it’s more than that, I live in (video was cut to leave out the person’s address). You can come by… I’m really sorry again,” the neighbor said.

The kind neighbor said one more sorry before leaving, and the video ends there.

This heartwarming gesture caught on tape went viral on TikTok. The video has almost 9 million views and it was only posted 3 days ago. It just goes to show that you don’t need any gimmicks to be acknowledged.

For those of you who are curious, don’t worry! In the video’s caption and on the video itself, the homeowner wrote that they returned the kind lady’s money and thanked her.

The person in the video even replied to the viral clip and said, “I can’t believe my frantic and embarrassed apology made it to the internet.”

Honesty and sincerity still exists in people. This lady felt so bad over a $ tree candy cane. But she did what was right as I hope you would too. I returned her money to her and thanked her. God is going to bless her 🙌🏼 #kindness#honesty#merrychristmas#caughtoncamera#ring#godbless#fyp#fypシ#viral#thankful#bekind
