Friendly Pony Befriends Farm Cat

If there is one language that we all can speak, it’s love. Love doesn’t necessarily mean just romantic feelings. Oftentimes, some of our great love stories include platonic ones, such as friendships.

That love that you have for your bestie is the same in the human world as it is in the animal kingdom. While we might not always notice, animals are quite capable of forming meaningful relationships with one another – including with animals of a completely different species.

There is no better example than that of a pony and a farm cat. The two animals might be from completely different species, but they are the best of friends regardless.

In fact, their owner managed to take a video of the two interacting, and it’s truly heartwarming to watch.

In it, the pony is caught running over to greet her buddy, the cat. The cat is perched on a fence overlooking the surrounding field.

From the corner of the camera, you can see movement, and it’s the pony as she runs over, having caught sight of her best friend. As soon as she gets to the fence she stops, reaching out her snout in order to let the cat give her a head bump.

She then returns the favor, gently nuzzling the black cat with such care. It is so clear that these two have a lot of love for one another, and the pair make for quite a wholesome little friendship.

If that doesn’t just make you smile then I don’t know what will!
