Controversy After Joe Biden’s German Shepherd Attacked Secret Service Personnel Multiple Times

Joe Biden’s dog, Commander, has been living at the White House since he was a puppy. However, recent documents revealed that the dog has attacked secret service personnel on multiple occasions over the past several months.

According to 196-page document released by Homeland Security, Biden’s German Shepherd Commander was involved in 10 aggressive incidents between December 14, 2021, and the present.

The documents show text message and email exchanges regarding Commander’s bites and attacks. None of the injuries described in the documents were serious.

One email described how a Secret Service officer was “posted” for work when Commander “came charging” at them.

“Recently, Commander has been exhibiting extremely aggressive behavior,” the officer wrote in the email.

During that incident, First Lady Jill Biden was allegedly with Commander, but she “couldn’t regain control of Commander, and he continued to circle me. I believe it’s only a matter of time before an agent/officer is attacked or bit.”

Shortly after that incident, an officer revealed that Commander “bit me twice and ran at me twice.” The officer said they used a “steel cart to shield” themselves from Commander as he was charging.

In another email describing the incident, the officer told supervisors that they were forced to use a “steel cart to shield” themselves from being charged a second time by Commander.

In January 2023, Commander attacked a secret service agent at President Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware. The documents show that Commander “immediately bit/latched onto the lower right side of my back.”

The incident comes after Biden moved his other German Shepherd, Major, to Delaware due to aggression concerns.

The dog will be undergoing more training for sure, but it remains to be seen whether he will also be sent to live elsewhere.
