Senior Cat Overlooked At Los Angeles Cat Cafe Longs For Loving Home
An eight-year-old Siamese cat named Snowball is tired of being overlooked. He lived most of his life at a stray cat on the streets of Montebello, California, but is ready to for the good life in a loving home.
He arrived at Kitten Rescue of Los Angeles injured and in need of medical care. He has fully recovered but is FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive. He adores people and older children who respect his space. He purrs loudly for food and attention and will come when called, unless he is napping, shared the shelter.
Snowball is currently at Crumbs & Whiskers, the first cat cafe in Los Angeles, along with other adoptable cats searching for a family. People can come get their daily fix of coffee and snuggle with a cat. It is a win-win.
The goal is to find each cat a forever home. Sadly, Snowball is being overlooked as people interact with the tiny kittens. He has so much love to give and just wants to find his person.
The cafe posted a heart-wrenching video sharing that Snowball is not getting any attention and people flooded the comments complimenting the handsome feline and one person said they were headed there immediately to play with him.

“He is outgoing, curious, and enjoys the company of other cats,” shared the cat cafe. They have helped thousands of cats and kittens find a home and are determined to help Snowball.
Snowball is a mellow guy who enjoys lounging around. “He will purr loudly for pets. On occasion, he will chase a wand toy or climb up to a window perch to gaze out. However, mostly he is content to sit quietly and enjoy just being inside and with people,” his caretakers shared.
He needs a home without a dog, as he is not a fan, and would love to be spoiled as the only pet. The rescue also states that FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives with proper care. “FIV is not a big deal; given proper care and attention, an FIV+ cat will live the same lifespan as an FIV negative cat. The disease is extremely hard to transmit from cat to cat, requiring direct blood contact (typically from a deep puncture wound). It is not transmissible to humans.”
